Tournament Information

• Confirmed: 15 pairs
• Groups: 4 groups (group stage determines advancement to knockout)
• Group Stage Day: 01/11 (planned to complete all group matches on the same day)
• Make-ups: Limited make-up window on 01/18 (only if needed)
• Knockout Day: 01/25 – Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final + Awards Ceremony
• Voting / Attendance: On group day and knockout day, everyone should vote as usual in the Messenger group. If someone is not in Messenger, a sponsor will vote and add guests so we can charge correctly.
• Shuttles: Lingmei 90, speed 77
• Awards: Cups for 1st / 2nd / 3rd place

Advancement Rules

After group stage, 8 pairs advance to the knockout rounds (Quarterfinals on 01/25). Group rankings are based on: (1) Wins, then (2) Point Differential (Points For − Points Against), then (3) Points For.

• Automatic qualifiers: The top 2 pairs from each group advance when available.
• If a group has fewer pairs (e.g., 3-pair group): we will still rank within that group using the same criteria, and the remaining knockout slots (if any) will be filled by the best-performing next pair(s) across all groups using the same ranking criteria (Wins → Point Differential → Points For).
• Final tie-breaker: If still tied, the organizing committee will apply a practical tie-break (e.g., head-to-head if applicable, or a brief play-in) and announce the decision transparently.

Matchday Notes

• Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in and warm-up.
• If you expect to be late, message us as soon as possible.
• Scores should be confirmed by both pairs immediately after each match.
